Branches

A branch is one physical location of your institute. A coaching academy with centres in two neighbourhoods has two branches, and each branch holds its own batches, students, and fees (for a gym a branch is a club location, for a PG hostel it is a building). This guide covers running multiple branches, setting up branch-level teams, and how numbers split per branch.

Running more than one location

When you first sign up, the guided setup asks you to name your first branch and your first batch, so every institute starts with at least one branch. You can add more from Settings as you open new locations.

The free plan includes one branch for up to 50 members. The paid plan starts at ₹999 per month plus GST and scales with your size, so growing institutes can add branches without switching products.

Each branch keeps its own structure. Batches belong to a branch, students belong to batches, and fees can be scoped to a single branch. When you upload a list of students from a file, they are added only to the branch you are working in; rows that belong to a different branch are skipped and reported so nothing lands in the wrong place.

The branch switcher

Use the branch switcher inside the app to move between locations. Switching is instant and does not reload the app. Once you pick a branch, the dashboard, student lists, and fee pages all show that branch's numbers, not organisation-wide totals, so you always know exactly which location you are looking at.

Who can see what

Access in Feezy follows your team structure, from the whole organisation down to a single batch.

Role	What they see
Owner and organisation admins	Everything: every branch, every batch, all collections, payouts, and expenses
Branch admins	Their own branch only: its students, batches, fees, and a location-level Expenses page
Batch-level coordinators	Only the batches assigned to them, with the ability to send fee reminders to their own students

A few things make this easier to manage:

• Role names match your kind of institute. A Teacher at an academy becomes a Trainer at a studio, a Caretaker at a residence, or a Manager at a community.
• Team members only see the buttons and pages their role allows. Anything blocked shows one clear no-permission message instead of failing silently.
• A read-only Roles and Access page in Settings lists exactly what each role can do, including expenses and salaries.
• Team invite links expire after seven days, with an easy resend option.

Organisation-wide overview pages

Owners and organisation admins get views that cut across every branch:

• Organisation Overview shows figures for all branches together, with a month picker to look at any past month or all-time totals.
• Collections lists every payment, payout, and refund across the whole organisation, with clear totals for money collected, paid out, and pending payout.
• Money Out shows, for each branch, what came in, what went out, and what the institute actually made this month, including which branch is losing money, with bar and pie charts of where the money went. The Expenses area behind it is switched on institute by institute by the Feezy team.

Branch admins do not see these organisation-wide pages; their view stays within their own branch.

How fees and reports split per branch

A fee can apply to the whole institute or to one branch only. Branch-specific fees are created the same way as any other fee, with the branch chosen up front, and they bill only the students in that branch.

Records carry the branch with them everywhere:

• The transactions list has a branch column, and each payment's detail view shows the student's branch and batch.
• The dashboard reports the branch you have selected in the switcher, while Organisation Overview adds everything up.
• Expenses and salaries are recorded against a branch, so the Money Out page can show each location's true profit or loss.
• One click downloads a clean money in and money out spreadsheet for your accountant, for any month.
